Meeting with Stasher in London

    Tuesday Morgane and I had the opportunity to meet the great Stasher team in London. Stasher is the world's first luggage storage network. They combine you with hotels and stores that can hold your luggage safe while you explore a new city. They work with large partners like Expedia & Accor hotels in cities worldwide. Stasher is a simple concept like AirBnB. They work with a network of hundreds of shops and hotels who have extra space. In this extra space, you can leave your luggage. The use of Stasher is very easy, you have to enter your location on the website. After this, they will find a StasherPoint nearby where you can drop off your luggage. Our reception was very warm. We were welcomed by the Marketing Manager, Elsa. We immediately got into a conversation with her while she prepared a delicious coffee for us. The office was very open and modern, as you would expect from a start-up.

     We got to know the great members of Stasher and were allowed to do a little interview with Anthony. Anthony is one of the two co-founders. He is 24 years old and finished his university 2 years ago. Anthony studied PPE at Oxford University and worked as a PPC specialist at Brainlabs. He was very polite and nice from the beginning and we had the feeling to talk to a friend rather than really do an interview.

He told us many interesting things, for example how he came up with the idea of Stasher. During his time at university, he lived closer to the big train station Kings Cross. Friends often asked if they could deposit their luggage with him. Then he came up with the idea of making money with it. As a result, he founded Stasher with Jacob in September 2015. During the studies, they worked on the prototype and found a big investor named James Gibson, CEO of Big Yellow Storage. This year not only has their team grown, but they have also managed to expand throughout Europe. In the following weeks we will publish the full interview.
